Founded in 1975 by a German immigrant, INTERCHEM LTDA found its roots in Bogotá, Colombia. After a decade of experience selling feed additives for BASF in Colombia, today’s General Manager and Founder thought to leverage his experience and open a company he then called INTERNATIONAL CHEMICALS. Twenty-nine years ago the firm pioneered the indent business, and today, INTERCHEM LTDA is one of the leading agents for foreign producers of raw materials for the pharmaceutical, veterinarian, food, feed-stuff, and pyrotechnical industries.
INTERCHEM LTDA continues to be a family owned business with revenues of US $15M. The firm’s General Manager – Hans Grewe – is committed to maintaining the current clientele, its Director of Market Development – Mark Grewe – is engaged in managing the company’s growth and building relationships with new clients and suppliers; and its staff is dedicated to fulfilling the day-to-day needs of both clients and suppliers.
